What’s been happening:

First career after med. school was residency at Univ. of Rochester-med-peds for 4 years. Concurrent career of raising Kirsten and Benjamin. Second career for 20 years was primary care physician at Fredericksburg Community Health Center, Fredericksburg, PA, various nursing homes, school physician, Good Samaritan Hospital (Lebanon, PA) administrative duties. Concurrent career of raising Twyla, Damond, Kirsten, Benjamin. Side trip for a year to Maiduguri, Nigeria to teach pediatrics. Active hobbies of barbershop quartet/chorus and community chorus singing, jogging, volleyball, karate, community activities. Third career 2000-2007 was in North Carolina, faculty (Associate Prof.) in Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill-seeing patients, teaching medical students, precepting med-peds residents. Concurent career of remarrying, raising Samuel and Ana. Active hobbies of barbershop quartet/chorus and gospel chorus singing, jogging. Fourth career 2007-? (maybe 2017) at University of Iowa faculty in Medicine (Associate Professor), seeing patients, teaching medical students and precepting medicine residents. Concurrent career of raising Sam and Ana. Active hobbies of barbershop singing, jogging.
